Veteran Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik has officially joined Sharjah Warriorz ahead of the fourth season of the DP World ILT20.

At age 40, Karthik brings with him a wealth of experience as a wicketkeeper-batter and a reputation as one of T20’s finest finishers.

In what is being seen as a strategic move, Karthik replaces Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis in the Sharjah Warriorz squad.

Under coach JP Duminy, the franchise is aiming to bolster its batting depth and finishing capability with this high-profile signing. The announcement

comes just ahead of the ILT20’s player auction, making Karthik’s addition a timely and significant boost to the Warriorz’ lineup.
